Brigantia is a very good all rounder with excellent facilities and plenty of room. Since May 2013 Gromit has been proud to call himself the figurehead of our newest ferry.

- Hydraulically lifting wheelhouse allows skippers to pass beneath low bridges, especially Prince street yet provides the skipper with a great vantage point from which to helm her

History
- Built in Bristol Floating Harbour and launched in 2006
- Brigantia's design was an evolution on the plans drawn up for her sister ship Matilda 10 years previously
- Brigantia was the Celtic Goddess of Blacksmiths, a powerful mythical figure who watched over smithies of the ancient world - we honour the memory of Tom 'Will the Blacksmith' Williams with her name
- The ancient Roman Town of Brigantia known today as La Corunna is the site of the oldest working lighthouse in the world and the light on the tower of Hercules - 1900 years old – still safely guides shipping off the coast of Northern Spain
