Bristol Community Ferry Boats are looking to recruit and train crew to work on our ferries during our busy Summer season 2023.
Crew
Our crew are an essential part of the team - your responsibilities will include ensuring passenger safety and keeping on schedule for our timetabled waterbus, boat parties and special events during the week.
- You must be: Over 18, confident around water and crowds.
- You should have: Customer service experience, enthusiasm and a reasonable level of fitness.
- Ideally you will be: Hard working, friendly, confident, an excellent time keeper and happy to work outdoors in all weathers and on weekends.

- Applicants must be available for interview on either 12th or 13th January.
- Practical training and safety induction to take place on 19th and 20th of January.
- Hourly Rate from £10.90 dependant on experience.

Skippers
Our Skippers are responsible for the safety of all passengers and of our vessels - with the confidence necessary to prevent emergencies from arising but also to handle emergency situations.
- Boat handling experience and knowledge of Bristol Harbour is required.
- We will provide full training this Winter to achieve your Boat Masters Licence with the Maritime Coastguard Agency.
- This will enable you to Skipper our fleet of passenger ferries from Spring 2023.
- Hourly Rate starting from £13.30 dependant on experience.
