  • Built in 1969 as a lifeboat for the Ocean liner Canberra – an extremely elegant and famous passenger ship that also saw service as a troop transporter during the Falklands war.
  • She was the first ship in the world to have lifeboats specially designed to slot neatly into compartments in the side of the ship and which would also double up as transporters to take passengers from the ship anchorage to the shore. So she has travelled many thousands of miles all over the world. (Sadly Canberra was decommissioned and broken up in Pakistan in 1997).
  • Previously owned and operated as a passenger ferry by Rick Wakeham along with Mercury.
  • Bought by Boats At Bristol (sister company to Bristol Ferry Boat Company) in 2006, maintaining her original red livery
