Ferry Travel Groups
- On busy days and during high season large groups should be prepared to break into smaller sizes in order to travel. (NB: For groups (15 people +) that wish to travel together we offer a range of private trips that will possibly suit your needs better).
- Groups that have purchased Multistop tickets online who are intending to travel together will be issued with a single passage ticket.
- Individuals of a group may wish to travel on seperate passage tickets; these can be assigned accordingly. But please be aware that this may take time to facilitate during busy periods, as all tickets are hand written.
FERRY TRAVEL - ADVICE
- Facilities onboard our boats vary considerably; from modern boats that are both heated and covered with full flushing toilets, through to more traditional wooden open boats with no heating, limited cover and no toilet facilities.
- We will always endeavour to provide all ferry routes with the best available boat; taking into account demand and weather conditions etc.
- However, logistics dictate the boat (and therefore the facilities) available at any one time.
- Timetabled ferry services may be cancelled due to bad weather or for logistical reasons
- If you have any particular needs please do contact us for more details.
- Once a multi-stop receipt has been presented to crew onboard and validated with the issue of a blue passage ticket it is valid for one calendar day only.
- All landing stages are request stops (except for Cascade Steps, City Centre). For passengers wishing to alight onto an approaching ferry we recommend waving to crew to ensure this intention is clear....and to avoid disappointment.
